A specialist drilling option made for medium-sized mine blasting is the Sivik Technology BH 30 160 Blast Hole Rig. It uses a pull-down force of 13,800 kg to drill holes that range in diameter from 165 to 200 mm. Both DTH and rotary drilling techniques are supported. Strong structural steel makes up the mast assembly, which is hydraulically raised and lowered. There are 850 liters in the hydraulic tank. The rig can reach a maximum depth of 37 meters and a single pass depth of 6.8 meters. It has an air-conditioned cabin, a large centralized control panel, and a 430 horsepower deck engine. The hydraulic system consists of coolers for collecting dust and oil as well as pumps for propulsion, feed, and rotation. It has a breakout wrench and hydraulic leveling jacks. A 30-ton crawler with movable tramming speeds can support the rig. Nightlights, toolboxes, cameras, mine safety features, and other accessories are optional.
