A specialist drilling tool made for blasting in small-scale mines is the Sivik Technology BH 15 100 Blast Hole Rig. It uses a pull-down force of 6000 kg to drill holes that range in diameter from 100 to 165 mm. Both DTH and rotary drilling techniques are supported. Strong structural steel makes up the mast assembly, which is hydraulically raised and lowered. There are 450 liters in the hydraulic tank. Four meters is the rig’s single pass depth. It has an air-conditioned cabin, a large centralized control panel, and a 160-hp deck engine. The hydraulic system consists of coolers for collecting dust and oil as well as rotation, feed, and auxiliary pumps. It has a breakout wrench and hydraulic leveling jacks. An 18-ton crawler with movable tramming speeds can support the rig. Nightlights, toolboxes, cameras, mine safety features, and other accessories are optional.
