A specialist drilling solution made for blasting in large-scale mines is the Sivik Technology BH 45 250 rotating blast hole drilling rig. With a pull-down force of 22,000 kg, it drills holes ranging in diameter from 165 to 240 mm. Both DTH and rotary drilling techniques are supported. Strong structural steel makes up the mast assembly, which is hydraulically raised and lowered. There are 950 liters in the hydraulic tank. The rig can reach a maximum depth of 45 meters and a single pass depth of 8.4 meters. It has an air-conditioned cabin, a large centralized control panel, and a 560 horsepower deck engine. The hydraulic system consists of coolers for collecting dust and oil as well as pumps for propulsion, feed, and rotation. It has a breakout wrench and hydraulic leveling jacks. A 45-ton crawler with movable tramming speeds can support the rig. Nightlights, toolboxes, cameras, mine safety features, and other accessories are optional.
